Amy Frank, PA-C, brings extensive experience as a physician assistant to Orthopedics Associates of Central Texas. She moved to Austin in 2018 after completing 20 years of service in the United States Army, 13 of those years as a physician assistant. Her experience includes orthopedics, primary care, and trauma medicine in austere environments, including three tours in Iraq.
Originally from northern Wisconsin, Amy received a bachelor’s degree in cellular biology from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in Oshkosh, WI while competing on the University’s volleyball and sailing teams. She has a second bachelor’s and a master’s degree, both in physician assistant studies, from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, NE. She is anticipating a doctorate in medical science from the University of Lynchburg in Lynchburg, VA in May of 2019.
Amy is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants with special recognition in surgery and the Texas Medical Board. She is also a member of the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
